YEOVIL NEWS: Police car chase leads to appeal for witnesses

AN APPEAL for witnesses has been made after a dangerous driving incident in Yeovil which resulted in a police chase in a residential part of the town.

It happened between 9.55pm and 10.10pm on August 9, 2017, around the Stiby Road, Larkhill Road and Wessex Road area of Yeovil.

A red Citroen Saxo failed to stop for police and following a short pursuit, the driver abandoned the car and ran off towards Larkhill Road.

A police spokesman said: “We are keen to trace a man who was driving a silver people carrier which was overtaken by the Saxo and another man who was on a motorbike which was forced off the road by the driver in the Saxo.”
