SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Police appeal after arson attack
POLICE have launched an investigation after £50,000 worth of straw was set alight in Curry Rivel.
The fire broke out in a field in the Dyers Road area at just before midnight on Friday, February 3, 2017.
A police spokesman said: “We’re appealing for witnesses and believe a number of vehicles were passing by this area at the time. A member of the public was also walking in the area with a torch.”
If you were passing by the Dyers Road area of Curry Rivel around the time of the fire and saw or heard anything suspicious, please call police on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5217025458.
