Several hundred runners – most of whom were wearing red Father Christmas outfits – gathered at Yeovil Country Park on Sunday (December 11, 2016) for the fun-filled 4k event.

The event was organised by the Yeovil Town Road Running Club, sponsored by Milsted Langdon and hosted by Goldenstones Leisure Centre.

The run was a festive and fun event and aimed at runners, non-runners, families, work teams and colleagues.

Dry weather – albeit with a little chill in the air – provided good conditions for the runners and it encouraged people to come out and support.

For the record Kelly Biss, of East Knoyle, provided some girl power by being the first runner home. Second was Kevin Doherty of Yeovil Town Road Running Club.
