SOMERSET NEWS: Eileen Evans found safe and well

POLICE have confirmed that 64-year-old Somerset woman Eileen Evans, who had gone missing from her home in Somerton, has been found safe and well.

Eileen had gone missing from the Locke Mews area of Somerton yesterday (Saturday, August 6, 2016) at about 8.30am.

She had left a note saying that she was planning to take a bus ride, but had not been seen since which had prompted an appeal by the police to help trace Eileen.

But this afternoon (Sunday, August 7, 2016) a police spokesman said: “We can confirm that Eileen Evans, aged 64, who went missing from Somerton yesterday morning has been found safe and well. Thank you to all who helped during the search.”
