YEOVIL NEWS: Gas leak on Abbey Manor estate

MOTORISTS are facing problems in the Abbey Manor area of Yeovil today (Monday, August 1, 2016) due to a gas leak.

Western Avenue has been blocked off at the Yeovil Town Football Club end and drivers on Stourton Way cannot exit onto Western Avenue.

A PCSO has traffic stopped by The Toose and only vehicles going to the actual estate roads are being allowed to pass, while the rest are being turned down The Toose.

A spokesman for Brympton Parish Council said: “Work to fix the gas leak is in progress, but there is no time scale as yet.”
