SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Crash at Ilchester

FIREFIGHTERS were called out in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, March 22, 2016) to deal with a car accident at Ilchester.

The alarm was raised shortly before 5am to the incident in High Street when a vehicle had become wedged between a lamp pot and a building.

“All persons were free and clear of the incident,” said a spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. “Crews made the vehicle safe and left duty of care with the police.”
