SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Boy gets stuck in room

AN eight-year-old boy had to be rescued by firefighters yesterday (Saturday, January 2, 2016) after getting stuck inside a hotel room in Chard.

The alarm was raised at just before 5pm and one fire engine from the town was sent out to deal with the incident at the Bath House Hotel in Holyrood Street.

Firefighters used a ladder to rescue the boy through the window.
