YEOVIL NEWS: Two released on bail over drug offences

TWO young men arrested in Yeovil on suspicion of drug offences were later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The pair – one from London and one of no fixed abode – were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs on Friday, September 18, 2015, when officers seized several hundred pounds in cash which could not be accounted for. The young men are due to answer bail in December.

Neighbourhood PC Matt Wilson said: “We’re working to identify nuisance premises and those being used for criminal purposes. Our enquiries into this incident continue and I would ask anyone with information about drug crime or associated issues in Yeovil to get in touch.”

People can contact Yeovil officers through our contact form or by calling 101. Alternatively ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111. They never ask your name or trace your call.
