SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Flasher alert in Ilminster area

POLICE are investigating two reports of a man exposing himself to two women in separate incidents whilst they were walking their dogs at the weekend near Ilminster.

The flasher was stood amongst the trees in Dillington Park before casually apologising and walking off in the direction of Bayhill Road.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for anyone in the area between 8.30am and 10.30am on Saturday (July 11, 2015) to contact us.

“The suspect is described as white, in his middle or late 20s, with short blond hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt with some blue detailing on the front, blue shorts, and spoke with a West Country accent.”

He has been described by one victim as being “socially awkward and demonstrating strange behaviour.”

He has reportedly been seen in the area of DillingtonPark on a number of occasions acting strangely.
