YEOVIL NEWS: Asda handbag thieves wanted by police

POLICE are appealing for information in identifying this man they would like to speak with in connection with an attempted handbag theft at the Asda store in Yeovil.

The incident happened at 2.10pm on Monday, June 15, 2015, when a woman nearly had her handbag stolen at the Asda store in Preston Road as she loaded her shopping.

Police believe two men may have been involved in the attempted theft – but only have a CCTV image of one of them.

One male is described as white, 5ft 10ins, of medium build with dark hair and wearing smart jeans, a blue blazer and shiny black shoes, aged in his late 30s.

The second man involved has been described as white, around 5ft 8ins, of medium build with dark hair and also wearing smart jeans and blue blazer, aged in his mid-30s.
