YEOVIL NEWS: Man mugged in late night attack

POLICE are looking for two men following a robbery in Yeovil in the early hours of Sunday (June 7, 2015) when a victim was punched to the floor and had money stolen from him.

It happened at around 1am on Sunningdale Road close to the junction with Rosebery Avenue.

A police spokesman said: “The 41-year-old victim was attacked first from behind and then while on the pavement during which point cash, mobile phone and glasses were taken off him.

“One of the offenders is described as a white male, about 5ft 7ins, of slim build, in his early 30s and wearing jeans and a sports type jacket.”
