YEOVIL NEWS: Tumble drier starts fire at home

FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning (Tuesday, June 2, 2015) to deal with a fire at a home in Yeovil.
The alarm was raised at just before 8am to the incident at a terraced house in Woodland Terrace.

Two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised and officers discovered that there was a blaze in the ground floor kitchen.

“It appeared that the fire had started in a tumble drier and had spread to the kitchen and dining room,” said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman.
