SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Cow stuck in river
FIREFIGHTERS had to help rescue a cow which had got stuck in a river near Langport.
One fire engine from Somerton and a specialist rescue team from Bridgwater was sent out just before midday today (Sunday, May 17, 2015) following reports of a cow stuck in the river off of Midelney Road in Drayton.
A local farmer helped firefighters to rescue the cow from the river.
