SOMERSET NEWS: Arson attack on people carrier

ARSONISTS are being blamed for a car fire in Bridgwater in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, May 13, 2015).

Two fire engines from Bridgwater were mobilised at just after 1.15am to the incident in Perry Green, Wembdon, and on arrival they discovered it involved a people carrier and a caravan.

The vehicle was completely destroyed by fire, while part of the outside of the caravan was damaged by heat.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.”

Police are investigating the incident.
