SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Man gets trapped under tractor

A MAN received minor injuries after he had become trapped under a tractor in Ilminster.

Firefighters from Ilminster, Chard and Taunton were mobilised at just before 8.30pm on Friday (May 8, 2015) to the incident in Station Road after hearing that the tractor had rolled over.

Officers were able to release the man by lifting the tractor.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The male received minor injuries to his leg and was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.”
