EASTER 2015: Annual duck race in South Petherton
THE annual Duck Race to help raise funds for South Petherton Carnival will be held on Easter Sunday (April 5, 2015).
The “competitors” will line-up at 3pm at Sheepwash in Hele Lane at the back of Burnworthy House before they are let loose down the course.
Ducks cost £2 each or three for £5 and can be bought from N&D News, the Brewers Arms and on the day from the start line.
There will be a number of cash prizes to the winning duck owners and all profits will go towards putting on the Carnival.
This year’s South Petherton Carnival will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
