SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Waste paper skip fire near Ilminster
FIREFIGHTERS were called out early this morning (Saturday, March 14, 2015) to deal with a skip fire near Ilminster.
The alarm was raised at just after 4am with reports of a skip on fire at Water Street in Seavington St Michael.
One fire crew from Ilminster was mobilised and officers confirmed one large waste paper skip was on fire involving 20-30 tonnes of cardboard and waste paper.
