YEOVIL NEWS: Slimming World group raising money for hospice

A SLIMMING World group in Yeovil will be raising money for St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice later this year.

The group, led by Michelle Lawrence, is based at Park House at The Park, Yeovil, and the fundraising afternoon will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

Entry fee will be £1 for adults and free for children and there will be complimentary tea and coffee, plus soft drinks, available.

Slimming World members will be taking along free food tasters and there will be lots of things going on such as face painting, a charity raffle, jewellery stall, cake stall, bric-a-brac, tombola and a clothes swap stall.

Michelle said: “Please come along with your friends and help raise some money for the hospice – we look forward to seeing you on March 1.”
