SOMERSET NEWS: House intruder MIGHT strike again

TWO occupants of a house were threatened when they came face-to-face with an intruder at their home in Somerset.SOMERSET NEWS: House intruder MIGHT strike again

The incident happened this morning (Wednesday, January 21, 2015) shortly after 8am to a property in Dunwear Lane, near Bridgwater.

A police spokesman said: “The two occupants of the house were threatened and the man left the house shortly afterwards.

“We believe the middle-aged man was wearing a grey hoodie, with the hood up, and a fluorescent jacket.

“We are concerned that a similar incident may occur again.  Local house to house enquiries have been underway since this afternoon and local officers are in the area to reassure local communities.”

The spokesman added: “We are anxious to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help us with our investigation.”
