FUNDS for the Flying Colours Appeal at Yeovil District Hospital were boosted on Saturday (November 22, 2014) night with the annual Mayor’s Ball at Westland leisure complex.

Around 300 guests – including many civic dignitaries from around the area – converged on Westland for the charity ball hosted by Yeovil Mayor, Cllr Mike Lock.

The Mayor thanked everyone for attending and said that all money raised on the night from would go towards his designated charity of the year which is raising money for a new special care baby unit.

There was a live auction and a silent auction, along with a tombola and casino games; while guests also enjoyed a three-course meal and live music.
