YEOVIL NEWS: Creepy goings-on set for Ninesprings!

COUNTRYSIDE rangers are for the third year running holding their free spooky Hallowe’en Trail in Ninesprings at Yeovil Country Park on Friday, October 31, 2014.

Starting opposite the new Ninesprings café, education and information centre; follow the self-led trail around the woods…if you dare! Look for the missing letters that will make up a word to complete the witches spell. Can you brave the cobwebs and ghouls that inhabit the woods at this time of year?

The trail is completely free and you can turn up anytime between 10am and 3pm. The trail takes approximately 1 hour to complete and the last recommended start time is 2pm.

South Somerset District Council’s leisure spokesman, Cllr Sylvia Seal, said: “Once again our rangers have been busy organising this excellent and well attended event. Last year we had 600 children take part and we’re hoping for even more this year.

“You can also enjoy a nice warm drink at the new Ninesprings Café once your children have completed the trail.”

Rangers and volunteers have been busy creating props and artwork for the spooky trail in preparation for the daring children who take part in the trail.

The new Ninesprings Café will be open between 7am and 6pm for parents and children to get out of the cold and enjoy a hot drink before or after completing the trail.
