Zero spokesman, Cllr Ian Martin, said: “There is always something new going on at Zero and I do hope all our young clubbers enjoy this first celebrity guest night event.”

The Zero Project recognises that Parents may have concerns about allowing their child to attend an event at a nightclub. Members of the team are more than happy to take questions from parents who can email zero@southsomerset.gov.uk or call 01935-462439.

Following the success of the Young Promoters initiative, Zero have continued to engage young people from the three Yeovil academies and Stanchester Academy to participate in the organising and promotion of Zero events whilst working towards a national accreditation qualification.

The Zero Project is a multi-agency initiative that was established in 2007 with an aim to reduce anti-social and binge drinking by providing a safe, alcohol free environment for Year 9 students to 17 year olds. The project is fully supported by the Police, District and County Councils, local businesses, schools and youth organisations.

A further Christmas Party is being planned for Monday, December 22, 2014 at Club Neo, Yeovil.
