YEOVIL NEWS: Car fire on Ilchester Road

EMERGENCY services were called out this afternoon (Friday, September 26, 2014) to deal with a car fire in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just before 3.45pm to the incident in Ilchester Road and one fire engine from Yeovil was mobilised.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Officers found a car well alight.”

The spokesman added that police were also in attendance to help with traffic control.
