YEOVIL NEWS: Jump in for aquanatal classes

MIDWIVES from Yeovil Hospital - in partnership with Goldenstones Leisure Centre - will be providing aquanatal classes for pregnant women in the area starting in September.

The classes will take place every Tuesday between 11am and 12pm at Goldenstones in Yeovil and the class will be run by midwives from Yeovil Hospital. Each class is £4.10 each but concessions are available. Full details are available from Goldenstones.

Aquanatal classes are a safe form of exercise during and after pregnancy. The classes are a good way for mums to be to make new friends.

A midwife at Yeovil Hospital, Michelle Dugmore, said: “We are very excited to be setting up an aquanatal class here in Yeovil.

“The classes are a great way for women during their pregnancy to exercise and socialise with other mums to be.”
