YEOVIL NEWS: Residents and police need to work together to improve community
POLICE are appealing for people to work with them in a bid to deter anti-social behaviour from happening in a problem area off of Larkhill Road in Yeovil.
Officers have received a number of reports of ongoing anti-social behaviour issues in the area of Percivale Road, Merlin Close and Lancelot Close.
“We take all anti-social behaviour seriously and will deal with these incidents as they happen,” said a police spokesman.
“The local neighbourhood police team will continue to work with the community and other agencies on longer-term solutions.”
But the spokesman added: “We need the help of residents to report any incidents to us and keep a diary.
“By working together we can gather the evidence that police and partners need to take action.”
Anyone who wants to speak with police about anti-social behaviour issues in that area or anywhere in Yeovil – please call 101.
