SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Oops – locked in public loos!

A MAN found himself accidentally locked in a public toilet this evening (Monday, August 11, 2014) in a South Somerset town.

The man was in the public toilets at the Memorial Hall in High Street, Wincanton, when he discovered they had been locked with him still inside.

A cry for help was made and one fire engine from Wincanton was mobilised at just before 6pm.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “Crews were unable to contact a keyholder, so got to work using small tools to gain entry and release the male uninjured.”

It is unknown as to whether the man was "flushed" with embarrassment.
