YEOVIL NEWS: Royal Marine pub-goers get on their bikes for charity

STAFF and customers from the Royal Marine pub in Yeovil were yesterday (Sunday, August 3, 2014) doing their two-wheeled bit for charity.

They took part in a charity bike ride around Yeovil and stopped off at various pubs and clubs to raise money for St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice.

A hospice spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “Well done to the guys and girls from the Royal Marine.”

Only last week the Royal Marine handed over cheques worth a combined total of £3,430 to two charities - St Margaret's Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
