YEOVIL NEWS: Police hunt for Maplin thief

POLICE have released this CCTV picture of a man they want to interview about a theft from the Maplin Electronics store in Yeovil.

A male entered the Maplin store on the Houndstone Business Park at Western Avenue on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 1.40pm.

A police spokesman today (Tuesday, July 1, 2014) told the Yeovil Press: “This male picked up a graphics card and proceeded to the back of the store.

“He then concealed the card inside his shorts and left the store without making any attempt to pay.”

The spokesman added: “The CCTV image shows a male who we believe might have some information which can help our enquiries.”
