YEOVIL NEWS: Police search for Asda shoplifter - CCTV picture released
POLICE have released a CCTV picture of a man they would like to speak with in connection about a theft at the Asda store in Yeovil.
On Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at just before 6.30pm a man entered the store in Preston Road and then went and selected and concealed a Blu-Ray player and Playstation console.
“He then left the store without making any attempt to pay for the goods,” a police spokesman told the Yeovil Press.
“The male was chased and he discarded the goods to make good his escape.”
The spokesman added: “The CCTV image shows a man who we believe might have some information which can help our enquiries.
“The male is described as a white male of slim build with mousey brown hair. He work a dark jacket and blue jeans.”
