GLASTONBURY 2014: Gemini CC members mixing with the stars!

MEMBERS of the Ilminster-based Gemini Carnival Club are not being outdone in the celeb-stakes by their friendly rivals, Harlequin CC, at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Gemini and Harlequin club members are at this weekend’s festival helping out with a variety of marshalling duties.

The Yeovil Press yesterday (Friday, June 27, 2014) published a photo of Harlequin member Andy Bennett with BBC presenter Alex Jones at Glastonbury.

We threw down the challenge to see if anyone from Harlequin or, even more fun, Gemini, could better that.

And Kerry, from Gemini, was quick to get in touch with a selfie of herself with singer Rita Ora.

And then we received another Glasto photo from the Gemini team who found themselves getting a quick snap with Dan Smith, lead vocalist of band Bastille, at the “drop and collect” point.

In a bid to better all of them, however, was a member of Harlequin CC sending us a picture of himself with Sooty and Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street. Not sure whether they really count!
