SOMERSET NEWS: Fuse box fire at home

TWO fire engines were mobilised yesterday (Sunday, June 15, 2014) to reports of smoke coming from an electrical fuse box at a home.

The alarm was raised at just before 7pm to the incident at the property in Churchlands Court, Burnham-on-Sea.

Firefighters discovered one fuse box smouldering, but that the fire was out by the time they had got there.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews made the scene safe and requested Western Power Distribution to attend.”
