YEOVIL NEWS: Post Office celebration on Westfield

THE Westfield Community Association and staff at the Co-op store in Stiby Road will be celebrating the opening of Yeovil’s newest Post Office facilities.

The Post Office officially opened facilities in the Co-op last month, but now there will be a “community celebration” on Saturday (June 14, 2014) from 11am to 1pm.

Westfield estate residents and Co-op customers are invited to join in the fun and to celebrate the opening of this much-needed service.

There will be children’s activities, competitions, face painting, badge making and refreshments.

Last month children from Oaklands Primary School and the Westfield Pre-School joined “grown ups” including Yeovil MP David Laws to officially open the Post Office facilities at the Co-op.
