YEOVIL NEWS: Hair today – going tonight!

YEOVIL woman Tracy Axe is hoping to raise a bucket full of cash for charity tonight (Tuesday, May 27, 2014) when she has her head shaved.

Tracy, who runs line-dancing classes at Yeovil Labour Club, has always been keen on supporting charities and in recent years she has done an abseil and a firewalk.YEOVIL NEWS: Hair today – going tonight!

Now this year she will be having her head shaved to raise money for the CLIC Sargent charity.

The deed will be carried out tonight between 8.30pm to 9pm at Yeovil Labour Club and Tracy has admitted that she is a bit nervous.

“I wouldn’t say I was looking forward to it,” she said. “But I’m looking forward to giving CLIC Sargent some funds.”

Anyone wanting to sponsor Tracy can do so on her online charity page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=TracyAxe .

Alternatively – why not pop along to the Labour Club tonight and make a donation in person?

Tracy, who runs Toe the Line dancing club, said: “Any donation whatever size would be very much appreciated.”

The head shave will coincide with one of Tracy’s line-dancing nights where there will be a raffle and a prize for the best wig.
