YEOVIL NEWS: Pals go and visit injury victim Jordan

YEOVIL student Jordan Williamson got a special visit in hospital yesterday (Saturday, May 24, 2014) when some of his pals went to check on his progress.

Jordan, 13, of Buckler’s Mead Academy, is currently in the Bristol Children’s Hospital after suffering serious leg and foot injuries after falling awkwardly while playing on a rope swing in the area of the Yeovil Country Park on Saturday, May 17.

Two of his friends who were with him at the time of the accident – Jamie Garrett and Leon Farley – went up to see him yesterday along with fellow mate Joe Chambers.

Jordan’s mum, Nyreen Coupe, said: “It really brightened Jordan’s mood up having his friends come up to see him.”

Brave Jordan has undergone a couple of operations in the past week following his accident, but it is hoped he will be allowed home sometime during the next seven days.

Another of Jordan's friends who was with him at the time of the accident, Jack Curtis, was unable to make the trip to Bristol yesterday, but they have kept in contact via mobile.
