The official launch on Wednesday (May 28, 2014) marks a return of Post Office services to the Westfield estate after an absence of more than five years – a move welcomed by customers, the community and local representatives during public consultations.

Post Office local is part of a major modernisation programme across the Post Office network designed to make it easier for customers to do business, through longer opening hours and modern open plan environments.

Westfield’s new service offers access to Post Office services seven days a week, with opening hours more than doubled with 52 extra hours a week.

Customers will be able to access a wide range of services, including most mail transactions, home shopping returns, online banking cash deposits, car tax renewal, and withdrawals.
