SOMERSET NEWS: Driver hits electricity pole
A WOMAN had to be helped out of a car by paramedics this morning (Friday, May 23, 2014) after hitting an electricity pole.
The incident happened at just after 7am on the A366 at Farleigh Hungerford, Frome, and one fire engine from Trowbridge responded.
A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “One female casualty was removed by paramedics before we arrived.
“Crews made the vehicle safe and put a cordon in place due to the live electricity cables.”
