YEOVIL NEWS: Could YOU be a foster carer?

MORE foster carers are needed in Somerset and an information evening for local people to find out more about what is involved will be held in Yeovil next month.

The event will be held at the Westland Leisure Complex in Yeovil on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 7pm to 9pm and coincides with the national Foster Care Fortnight campaign running from May 12-25, 2014.

It will allow people to find out more about fostering and to speak to social workers and foster carers about what it is really like.

A similar event will be held at the Holiday Inn Express, Taunton, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, also from 7pm to 9pm.
