SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Man and woman in car crash

A MAN and woman received medical treatment after being involved in a road traffic collision yesterday (Sunday, April 20, 2014) near Bruton.

The alarm was raised at just before 3.30pm to the one-vehicle incident on the B3081 at Redlynch and firefighters from Wincanton, Castle Cary and Yeovil were mobilised.

They discovered a car on its roof and that two occupants – a man and a woman – were free and clear of the vehicle.

Firefighters made the vehicle safe and helped the casualties prior to the arrival of ambulance personnel.
