YEOVIL NEWS: Car and motorbike in collision

EMERGENCY services were called out this morning (Saturday, April 12, 2014) to deal with a road traffic collision in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at 11.15am to the incident in Lyde Road involving one car and one motorcycle.

Police and ambulance personnel attended, while one fire engine from Yeovil was also mobilised.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Paramedics were dealing with a casualty.

“Crews assisted on scene with making the vehicles safe and duty of care was left with the police.”
