Waiting is over for a....waiting room!

YEOVIL Bus Station passengers have had a long wait for a waiting room - but thanks to funding from South Somerset District Council a newly refurbished waiting room is now open.

The station's waiting room has been freshly painted and decorated, with a CCTV camera installed to guard against the anti-social behaviour which made it necessary to close the waiting room before.

Bus shelters have also been given a good clean along with parking bay areas, footpaths, the fascia of the building and the street furniture.

New planters to add a splash of colour and some new litter bins are to be put in place, all making for a more welcoming environment for regular travellers and visitors to the area.

The waiting room is now open daily Monday – Saturday.
