Road close due to fly-away trampoline

A BUSY road in Yeovil has been closed to traffic this afternoon (Friday, Feburary 14, 2014) due to a large trampoline which has been blown up from a garden into trees.

Reports suggest that police and firefighters have been called out to deal with the situation with the trampoline in a precarious position and liable to cause damage and injury if it gets blown from the trees onto Preston Road.

It is understood that Preston Road has been closed from the traffic lights at Larkhill and Preston Grove to Watercombe Lane to allow the emergency services to deal.
