Car goes into building in Yeovil

POLICE and firefighters were called out early this morning to deal with a car which had gone into the side of a building in Yeovil.

The incident happened at Hillingdon Court on the Abbey Manor estate in Yeovil at around 1.15am.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews liaised with police on scene and made the vehicle safe.

“The area was cordoned off for safety.”
