Some Somerset schools closing early

A NUMBER of schools across Somerset are closing early today (Wednesday, February 12, 2014) due to the ongoing bad weather.

Preston School in Yeovil has announced it will be closing at 3pm and all out-of-school activities planned for this afternoon have been cancelled.

Neroche Primary School at Broadway near Ilminster has said that parents can pick their children up early due to worsening road conditions in the area and some access routes becoming flooded.
