Bristol crocodile seen at Huish Park! (Only joking!)

YEOVIL Town FC’s zany media department has suggested that a crocodile – reportedly spotted “on the run” in Bristol earlier this week – has been at Huish Park.

The menacing predator was supposedly seen by a bus driver who stopped police to ask for help having allegedly seen the creature underneath Bristol’s Coronation Bridge.

The Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset Police, Nick Gargan, took to social networking site Twitter to tell his “followers” about the crocodile sighting.

But now fun-loving Jimmy Healey, of Yeovil Town’s media and communications department, has got in on the act and posted this photo on Twitter he took earlier today (Thursday, February 6, 2014) at Huish Park.

“Took this photo earlier and got photo-bombed by the Bristol Croc,” he tweeted. “Is he on holiday in Somerset?”

The pitch is currently covered to protect it from the terrible weather.

Bristol Zoo, meanwhile, has reported that it is not missing a crocodile!
