Stay safe on roads in gale force winds
PEOPLE are being urged to stay safe today (Wednesday, February 5, 2014) as gale force winds continue to batter Yeovil and the rest of the South West region.
Motorists, in particular, are being advised to take extra caution out on the roads with falling trees and debris posing hazardous conditions.
Today is also a busy day for refuse collections in Yeovil and there have been reports of wheelie-bins being scattered across roads and bags of rubbish swirling about.
