Woman rescued from car stuck in flood
A WOMAN has been rescued tonight (Saturday, January 4, 2014) after getting trapped in floodwater inside her car on the outskirts of Yeovil.
Two fire engines from Yeovil and Martock were mobilised at just before 9.45pm to the scene in Marsh Lane, Tintinhull.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews used dry suits and with police removed the car from floodwater and rescued one female.”
