Trees ripped out by storms at Yeovil Country Park
THE storms over the Christmas and New Year period have caused havoc across the area – including the Yeovil Country Park.
Countryside rangers at the park, managed by South Somerset District Council, have reported a number of trees having been uprooted during the storms.
And as you can see from their photos – there’s plenty of work to be done for them and the volunteers at the park, popularly known as Ninesprings, in the weeks ahead.
A spokesman for Yeovil Country Park said: "There's plenty of work to do. These storms are having a devastating effect on our woodlands."
