School gets praise from MP

YEOVIL MP David Laws has congratulated staff and pupils at South Petherton Infants School for their recent Ofsted inspection which described the school as “outstanding.”

The school was visited by Ofsted inspectors earlier this month and the report rated the school “outstanding” in all areas - the highest rating possible.

This represents a significant improvement for South Petherton C of E Infants School as the school was rated “good” at its last Ofsted inspection.

Mr Laws said: “I am absolutely delighted for everybody connected with SouthPethertonInfantsSchool.

“This fantastic Ofsted report, which has rated the school as “outstanding” in every category, is a testament to the hard work and dedication of headteacher Lisa Farley and her team.”
