Mean thieves steal fairy doors from play area

RANGERS and volunteers at Yeovil Country Park have been left shocked and saddened after thieves stole “fairy doors” from a woodland play zone.

The doors had been at the special play area at the country park – better known as Ninesprings – for more than a year.

But rangers and volunteers have this morning (Monday, December 2, 2013) reported that they have been stolen.

A spokesman for the Yeovil Country Park said: “It is unbelievable that someone would do this.

“How can people be so selfish and ruin the enjoyment of others.

“Sorry to the families who enjoy this area with their children, but it will be a little while before the rangers will have time to replace them.”
