Cyclists warned - lock them or lose them

CYCLISTS in Yeovil have been warned to make sure they lock up their bikes or face the prospect of having them stolen.

Members of Brympton Parish Council heard this week that there has been a rise in bike thefts across Yeovil.

Cyclists have been asked by police to keep their bicycles locked away when not in use and have the frames security marked with their postcode.

Cllr Paul Taylor said that Halfords on the HoundstoneBusinessPark would be doing security marking for bikes in December.
